About LoBue


Established in 1981 by three bank executives, LoBue recognized the opportunity to provide quality hands-on consulting to North American banks. Our practice quickly became international when an associate asked for our help in Italy to remedy a retail credit and collections crisis. Our introduction to the insurance industry came via a major analysis for the industry-established "Asbestos Claim Facility," which dimensioned the overall claims issues for both asbestos manufacturers and their insurance companies, and provided the key strategies for dealing with the issue. By 1990, LoBue's presence had expanded to Asia-Pacific, South America and Europe. When the North American savings and loan crisis took its toll on the consulting industry, we learned the value of decisive action by assisting clients in turnaround and merger integration activities. We emerged stronger and better focused on financial services industry needs, and by 2000 we had expanded our client reach to over 35 countries and worked in every discipline within financial services. LoBue met the post Y2K and internet bubble contraction in consulting with the same steadfast dedication to clients. Once again, we emerged better prepared for ongoing growth, in part due to an ongoing investment in our proprietary LAPIS system, a unique consulting technology that has enhanced our quantitative and organizational evaluation capabilities. Our client base now spans over 45 countries around the globe and our passion for happy clients is as strong as it was in 1981.
